EAC 2026: Transportation

General

Prague has a good public transportation system. When choosing this option, it is necessary to purchase a ticket before taking a ride. You can purchase the ticket in a vending machine, via an app, via SMS, or contactless directly onboard.

When a paper-form ticket is purchased, validate it on the bus / on the tram / before entering the subway.

A 90-minute ticket is sufficient to get from the airport to the city center.  A 30-minute ticket is sufficient to get from the main bus station or main train station.

Brief information on tickets, prices, and how to get from/to is available here: https://pid.cz/en/travel-information/how-do-i-get-from/

Alternatively, you can take a ride using a regular cab, Uber, or Bolt (both operate normally in Prague, although you will need to download the respective app). The ride costs generally around 700 CZK (approx. 28 EUR).
